Phil Foster
As CEO of Love Business, Phil has a strong desire to support UK SME’s make much needed savings on their energy bills.
It was for that very reason that he created Love Business, to delight business owners by not only improving their profits through cost savings but also saving them valuable time with a smart switching service.

Steve Weller
Steve joined the Love Business board in 2018 following investment from LDC, a leading player in the private equity mid-market.
A skilled CEO, he draws on over a decade of delivering great experiences for customers while being focused on building sustainable growth at technology-led businesses.
Before joining us, Steve was CEO of comparison and switching service uSwitch until July 2018, where he led an MBO with LDC in 2013 and led the sale of the business to ZPG plc. for £190m in 2015.

Clair Scott
Clair joined the team from F&B supplier Wellocks, where she spent two years as Finance Director.
Prior to that, she spent eight years at tech giant ao.com, where she held a number of senior roles, including Director of Commercial.
Clair is passionate about customer centricity and maximising efficiency to deliver the right customer outcomes.

Bill Hodder
Bill has been the IT Director or CTO for Love Business since 2012. This role sees him developing the systems for Love Business and has allowed us to become the number one reference point for business savings in the UK.
Bill’s passion for the energy sector as well as his expertise in IT and systems has allowed us to create an incredible customer experience via our comparison engine and also create our ever-popular website.

Simon Lloyd
Simon joined the Love Business team as CMO in 2025 after roles with some of the UK’s best known brands including Nokia, BBC, Virgin Atlantic, Superdry, and AXA.
He has over 25 years’ experience in strategic and creative marketing, brand development, customer experience and digital transformation to accelerate business growth.

Alex Hughes
Alex joined Love Business as Director of People Services in 2023, to embed our people-first culture across the business and support our growth plans by aligning the team’s strategic and operational goals to the overall Love Business plan.

Talha Ahmed
Talha joined the business in May 2025 as CFO, bringing with him 20 years of international finance leadership and experience. A Fellow Chartered Accountant, he has worked across four countries and most recently served as Finance Director at Love2shop, where he led on its sale and post-acquisition integration into PayPoint Plc.
Talha is passionate about working with people, building teams that support and challenge one another, and creating an inclusive environment that helps drive growth and long-term value.
